According to Human Rights Watch, the US has been routinely engaging in "indiscriminate and excessive force" during activities in Afghanistan. HRW cites the example of one Ahmed Kahn, a farmer in a province firmly under American control whose house was bombed and riddled with bullets by both ground and air troops before anyone attempted to enter the premises. One neighbor was killed, another seriously wounded during the storming of the unarmed house. Nobody fired but the Americans. |
