Jim Henson would be proud of the anthropomorphism exhibited by the architects of this particular Davis Square building. He won his first Emmy at the ripe old age of twenty-three, for a nightly 5-minute live broadcast which introduced the character of a green frog with a propensity for song. Of course, that was before the critical success of The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Jim Henson's Muppet Babies, Dinosaurs, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Muppet*Vision 3D, The Muppet Move, The Great Muppet Caper, and Muppets Take Manhattan, and the critically acclaimed though less-terribly-successful The Storyteller and The Jim Henson Hour. Can't you just see the little base of the building curling up in a smile? |
